Koh Tao is a hilly island with many beautiful viewpoints, so we had to prepare this guide to the viewpoints of Koh Tao, which explains how to get to each of them!
Most of these viewpoints on Koh Tao have a small entrance fee (or they ask you to buy a drink), but some are free. They all have a great landscape and you can usually have a panoramic view of jungles, bays and islands in the distance.

Best View Of Koh Tao Thailand
1. Viewpoint of the summit
It is a secret lookout point with a swing hanging from a large banyan tree. It has an entrance fee of 100 baht.
We were the only tourists there! At the top you have a magnificent view of the southern end of Koh Tao.
2. Mango point of view
It is a popular viewpoint near the top of Koh Tao Island with stunning sunsets. It has an entrance fee of 100 baht.
You will get a first-class panoramic view of Sairee Beach in the distance, as well as the entire south side of Koh Tao Island.
3. Viewpoint of Koh Nang Yuan
Koh Nang Yuan is a pair of small islands right on the west coast of Koh Tao. There are some interesting things to do in Nang Yuan, but the Twin Island viewpoint is the main attraction.
This is by far the most famous view of Koh Tao and also one of the most picturesque! You can reach it by taking a boat from the northern end of Sairee Beach and then taking a short 10-minute hike to the top of the island.
4. Perspective of John Suwan
This is one of the best viewpoints in the south of Koh Tao. At the top you can see almost the entire island, with huge twin bays on both sides of their field vision.It this is one of our favorite places! The ascent to the summit takes only 15-20 minutes and there is an entrance fee of 50 baht, but you can avoid it if you go early.
5. Viewpoint of the bar and restaurant with Two Views
This is a picturesque restaurant, which can only be reached by an uncharted (but completely paved) road on the south side of the island.
You have to buy a drink to get in, but the prices are pretty reasonable and it also gives you access to another cool viewpoint further up the road where you can walk between two huge rocks!
6. Love the viewpoint of Koh Tao
This is the original point of view of Koh Tao! It’s not the best or highest view (IMO), but it’s one of the easiest to get to. There is a small food and drink shack at the top, and you need to buy something small to get in.
The road to love the Koh Tao viewpoint is not mapped on Google, but there is a southern entrance that can be reached all the way by scooter.
